interesting photo story…apparantly humans exhibit similar behaviour sometimes.i have heard of them being affectionate{even pet names!!}to animals …cowsand pigs etc..before tucking into a sausage sandwhich or slaughterhouse shift.
lol, your right. Modern man’s deliberate ignorance of animal breeding, raising and slaughter has made meat-eating easier for most. I wonder if there are felines that suffer the same unease when eating a familiar animal. Maybe commercial foods make it easier for cats, like that synthetic blood for vampires in True Blood.
i also consider the possibility that the cats are “tenderising” their next meal..as stress and fear before death release alot of toxic enegy into the body{the deer in this case} that is not preferable for a healthy meal…
